Enterprise-grade 3D geospatial, made operational.

We build and deploy 3D GIS environments your analysts, field teams and command centres can all work from — on-prem, private cloud or air-gapped.

Why Skyline + Global Mapper

The combination defence and city-planning teams already trust.

Skyline TerraExplorer is the 3D GIS workbench used by defence ministries, civil-aviation authorities and urban planning agencies worldwide. Global Mapper handles the format-translation reality of an enterprise environment — opening 300+ geospatial formats and pre-staging the data for the Skyline pipeline.

Easepect deploys both, on-prem or air-gapped, with the SSO / RBAC integration and operator training that turns the install into something analysts actually use day-to-day.

Stack

Four products, one ecosystem.

01 3D GIS

Skyline TerraExplorer

Desktop, web, mobile 3D GIS.

The 3D GIS analyst's workbench — multi-layer terrain, vector, raster, photogrammetric mesh, point cloud, BIM. Desktop / web / mobile clients off one project.

Skyline PhotoMesh

Automated large-scale meshing.

Aerial imagery → textured 3D mesh at city scale. The reference engine for 3D city models, defence training environments and large-area visualisation.

Capabilities

What an analyst can do.

  • Multi-layer 3D terrain and city models from CAD / GIS / mesh.
  • Line-of-sight, viewshed, watershed and flood simulation.
  • LiDAR point-cloud classification and feature extraction (Global Mapper Pro).
  • Web and mobile viewers — no heavy desktop install required.
  • Private-cloud streaming of terabyte-scale datasets.
  • Integration with operational C2, ERP and AEC platforms.
  • 300+ format support via Global Mapper — DWG, LAS, SHP, KML, IFC, etc.
  • Automation and scripting for repeatable analyst workflows (Python / native).
Workflow

From data to a live 3D environment.

01

Scope

Define the analyst, field-user and command-centre roles. Pick TerraExplorer / Globe Server / Photo Mesh combination.

02

Ingest

Bring in CAD, GIS, photogrammetric mesh, point cloud and BIM via Global Mapper or PhotoMesh. Coordinate-system aligned.

03

Build

Stitch into a TerraExplorer project. Add SLD-styled vector layers, terrain analyses, asset attributes.

04

Stream

Publish to SkylineGlobe Server (on-prem / private cloud / air-gapped). SSO, RBAC, per-layer security.

Sectors

Where 3D GIS earns its keep.

Defence & homeland security — mission rehearsal, situational awareness, ISR.

Government planning — URA-style 3D city models, master-plan visualisation.

Land authorities — 3D cadastre, subsurface twin, asset registry.

Critical infrastructure — power, water, transport network operations.

Emergency management — flood / wildfire / earthquake scenario modelling.

Real estate & property — 3D marketing, sun-shadow studies, sky-view analysis.

FAQ

Common questions.

On-prem or cloud? +

Both. Skyline products run as fully on-prem deployments (TerraExplorer + SkylineGlobe Server on Windows / Linux) or in private cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP). Air-gapped deployments are routine for defence customers — Easepect runs the install and operator training in your DC.

How does it differ from ArcGIS / Esri? +

Skyline's strength is large-scale 3D visualisation, photogrammetric mesh and streaming — not as a primary geodatabase. Most enterprise customers run ArcGIS / Esri as the data layer and Skyline as the 3D / mission-rehearsal layer on top. Global Mapper plugs the format-translation gap between the two worlds.

Can it ingest our existing data? +

Yes — Global Mapper opens 300+ formats natively, including SVY21 / Kertau RSO / WGS84 grids. PhotoMesh ingests aerial imagery from any drone or aircraft. TerraExplorer reads OGC services, BIM / IFC, point clouds and vector data. We build the data-prep pipeline as part of every engagement.

How long to deploy? +

Typical small-team TerraExplorer + Global Mapper deployment: 2–4 weeks including operator training. Enterprise SkylineGlobe Server with SSO, RBAC and on-prem hardening: 6–10 weeks depending on data volume and security review.

Do you train our analysts? +

Yes — Easepect runs structured 3-day operator and 2-day admin courses in Singapore. Per-vertical playbooks (defence, planning, infrastructure) on request. See the training lane.
