Subscription or PIX4Dengine — which should I buy? +

Subscription PIX4Dmatic / PIX4Dmapper is right for surveyors and engineering teams running interactive projects on the desktop. PIX4Dengine is right when you need to process at volume in unattended pipelines — managed-service firms, AEC vendors, large-fleet operators. We quote both, including three-year TCO modelling.

Can I run PIX4D on my own server? +

Yes. PIX4Dmatic, PIX4Dmapper and PIX4Dengine all run fully on-prem on Windows + NVIDIA GPU workstations or Linux containers (Engine). PIX4Dcloud is hosted by default — for private-cloud or air-gapped deployments we quote PIX4Dcloud Advanced.

Does PIX4D support Emlid RTK ground control? +

Yes. Emlid Flow exports industry-standard CSV / DXF with cm-grade GCP coordinates that drop straight into PIX4Dmatic, PIX4Dmapper or PIX4Dcatch projects. We bundle Emlid + PIX4D licences and pre-configure SiReNT corrections at handover.

What hardware do I need? +

For PIX4Dmatic / PIX4Dmapper: Intel i7 or Ryzen 7, 32–64 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3060 or better, NVMe SSD. PIX4Dcatch needs an iPhone / iPad with LiDAR (12 Pro or newer). We sell preconfigured workstations or validate your existing rig before quoting.

Is training included? +

Yes — every Easepect PIX4D licence includes onboarding. Structured 3-day operator and 2-day advanced courses run in Singapore, plus remote and per-vertical (construction / utilities / agriculture) playbooks. See the training lane.

Can PIX4D output direct into ArcGIS / QGIS? +

Yes. PIX4Dcloud publishes directly into ArcGIS Online via the PIX4D + Esri integration. Desktop products export Shapefile / GeoPackage / GeoTIFF / KML for any GIS. PIX4Dsurvey handles the vectorisation step for CAD-grade deliverables.

How accurate is PIX4D photogrammetry? +

With well-distributed RTK GCPs the absolute accuracy is typically 1× GSD horizontal and 1–3× GSD vertical. At 2 cm/px GSD that is 2 cm / 6 cm. PIX4Dcatch + RTK on a phone reaches sub-5 cm 3D for terrestrial scans — meeting ASCE 38 QL-A and PAS 128 QL-A evidence requirements.
