Survey-grade insight for large, remote sites.
Volumetrics for pits and stockpiles, multispectral scouting for plantations and crops — delivered with the same rigorous RTK and PIX4D processing backbone.

Mines + plantations across the region
One workflow. Pit to plantation. Singapore to Sumatra.
Mining and agriculture are different industries with the same operational truth: large, often remote sites where flight access, RTK corrections and processing rigour decide whether the deliverable is auditable. Easepect built one operating model for both — a single pilot team, the same PIX4D photogrammetry / fields pipeline, the Emlid RTK base / rover that travels with us, and Singapore-based processing.
What we typically deliver.
- Monthly volumetric reports for stockpiles and active pits.
- Bench-face and haul-road condition monitoring.
- RTK control for safety, blast planning and rehabilitation.
- Repeatable PIX4D processing templates per site / commodity.
- Auditable deliverables aligned to local regulatory formats.
- Drone-LiDAR over vegetated overburden where photogrammetry struggles.
Decision-grade agronomy.
- NDVI, NDRE and custom indices from MicaSense multispectral.
- Zone maps for fertiliser, water and pesticide application.
- Canopy height and tree-count analytics for plantations.
- PIX4Dfields workflow — cloud-shared with agronomy teams.
- Plantation inventory at hectare and estate scale.
- Erosion and drainage terrain analysis with Global Mapper.
The sub-verticals we know first-hand.
Open-pit mining
Coal, copper, gold, nickel, bauxite — monthly volumetric and bench monitoring.
Quarrying & aggregates
Stockpile cycling, reserve estimation, rehabilitation reporting.
Oil-palm plantation
Inventory, age structure, fronds-per-hectare, replanting scheduling.
Rubber, coconut, coffee
Stand health, productivity zonation, disease monitoring.
Broadacre crops
Sugar cane, rice, maize, soy — NDVI / NDRE prescription mapping.
Forestry
Canopy height, biomass, fire risk, invasive-species detection.
What we typically deploy.
PIX4Dmatic
Process tens of thousands of images for mine, quarry and plantation campaigns.
PIX4Dfields
Agronomy-focused — NDVI / NDRE, zonation, variable-rate prescriptions.
MicaSense Altum-PT
Multispectral + thermal in one payload — irrigation stress in a single flight.
Emlid Reach RS3
Long-battery RTK base / rover for open pits and rural sites.
Global Mapper Pro
LiDAR module, terrain analysis, hydrology, scripted automation.
Sicher MiniPro
Airbag protection for tripod-mounted total stations on dropping sites.
Common questions.
How accurate is drone volumetric survey? +
With well-distributed RTK GCPs, ±1% on volumes against design surface — better than walking-trolley surveys, comparable to total-station bench surveys for open-pit work. Easepect ships the GCP layout with the quote.
Do you fly inside Indonesian mining concessions? +
Yes. We coordinate with local CAA via partner pilots, ship our own Reach RS3 base in long-baseline mode where SiReNT / RTKnet.id is unreliable, and process in PIX4Dmatic on a Singapore workstation. Typical project lead time 1–2 weeks from PO.
Can you fly multispectral at plantation scale? +
Yes — we operate DJI M300 / M350 with MicaSense RedEdge-P or Altum-PT. Typical capture rate is 250–400 ha/day depending on altitude and overlap. PIX4Dfields processes the entire estate in one job.
Do you offer training so we can fly ourselves? +
Yes — three-day operator courses cover flight planning, RTK ground control and PIX4D processing. Per-vertical playbooks (mining volumetrics, plantation inventory) on request. Most teams are running unsupervised within a fortnight.
